City of Cleburne moves forward with Utilities Data Capture and Infrastructure GIS Implementation

City of Cleburne has signed with EI Technologies, LLC for utilities data capture and infrastructure GIS implementation. This project includes field data capture for water, wastewater and stormwater utilities features using GPS, data conversion of utilities data from as-builts and existing CAD data along with GPS data, quality control, and purchase of CAMPSTM EID module.  EI Technologies, LLC is pleased to continue to help the City of Cleburne on their GIS needs.

The City of Cleburne is in Johnson County, Texas and with a population over 30,000, making it the second most populous city in Johnson County. Cleburne is named for a Confederate General, Patrick Cleburne. Lake Pat Cleburne, the reservoir that provides water to the city and surrounding area, is also named for him. It was formerly know as Camp Henderson, a temporary Civil War outpost from which Johnson County soldiers would depart for war (most of them would serve under General Cleburne). The city was formally incorporated in 1871. Cleburne is on the fringe of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Local government is the major employer in Cleburne, providing over 1,700 jobs.

EI Technologies, LLC has assigned an integrated team of IT, GIS, and database consultants to accomplish the services.  Nirav Shah, president and CEO of EI Technologies, LLC said that the team is committed to implementing a superior solution for the City on time and on schedule.  He added, “We will provide the City with the exemplary solution that will become one of the premier GIS solutions in North Texas.”
