City of Lafayette signs agreement with EI Technologies, LLC for Phase II of GIS Implementation

Parker, CO — February 2, 2009

City of Lafayette has signed with EI Technologies, LLC for Phase II of the GIS implementation. EI Technologies, LLC completed Phase I of the GIS implementation by converting hardcopy water / sewer / storm infrastructure into ArcGIS.  As part of Phase II, EI Technologies, LLC will rectify the parcels to Aerial photographs, convert Leaks database into digital format, integrate streets data with utilities infrastructure, create additional utilities data layers, and provide training and technical support.

The City of Lafayette is a home rule municipality located in Boulder County, Colorado.  Lafayette is a thriving community, with the cultural and commercial center still being found in the revitalized Old Town district. The city hosts a variety of unique events each year, including an Oatmeal Festival in cooperation with Quaker Oats Company, a Peach Festival, a Wine Festival, and Lafayette Days.
