RigData Selects EI Technologies For GIS Project

EI Technologies, LLC announced today that the company has been selected to provide GIS needs assessment services to RigData, a Texas based Oil & Gas data provider.

RigData provides oil and gas related data to its customer.  RigData (Company) has an opportunity to enhance current databases, data structure, product line and other items that are specifically related to a Geographic Information System (GIS).  The Company needs to review the effectiveness of the GIS program and potential for enhancement for providing all customers with access to accurate, high-quality GIS data that leverages the Company’s investments in technology, personnel, and resources.

EI Technologies, LLC will help the Company by conducting a comprehensive review of the data, software, hardware, personnel, and processes that comprise the Company’s GIS infrastructure.  The assessment will be conducted in a three-month time period using a team of senior GIS consultants.  The team will assess the capability of the GIS to serve land information and business data to staff anywhere in the Company using the local area network and mobile computing devices.
