The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission selects EI Technologies to provide GIS Services

The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission has selected EI Technologies, LLC to provide GIS Professional Services. EI Technologies, LLC is expected to provide GIS support and staff augmentation services as part of this project.

The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission, manages over 130 state parks within Washington State.   The Washington State Park System was established in 1913 by the creation of the Washington State Board of Park Commissioners.  In 1915, the first two parks were formed from donated land, and by 1929 there were seven parks within the Park System.  In 1947 the State Parks Committee was renamed to the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission and given authority to oversee the state park system.
